Academic Program
As a University Preparatory School, the pursuit of Academe is our core business. Toward that end, you are expected to develop your academic talents to the fullest and investigate widely the many areas of study which are open to you.

Attending Ridley gives you access to an extensive menu of courses from the Ontario Academic Curriculum and various Advanced Placement courses. As you move into the senior grades, University and programme choices will become important, and you will be able to fine tune your course load in order to prepare yourself for the next level. You can also enhance your candidacy for University placement by competing in a variety of Academic contests, taking AP courses, or by getting involved in debating or public speaking. There are also many academic prizes that are awarded to students that perform at a high level. Academic prizes and awards of distinction will also enhance your value to Universities. Many Ridleians benefit from this and are successful at achieving significant university awards and scholarships.
