Junior School
Consisting of Junior Kindergarten to Grade 6, the Junior School is a nurturing, warm environment where children are actively engaged in learning.

At the Junior School, girls are excited and challenged by a multidisciplinary approach to learning that makes holistic connections between subject areas. Teachers work in teams to develop themes across the subject areas, making learning more meaningful and authentic for their students. Every grade in the Junior School integrates the Inquiry Approach into their curriculum units. This approach enables students to achieve a remarkable depth and breadth of knowledge and understanding.

Middle School
Middle School, Grades 7 and 8, represents an exciting time of transition and development, as Grade 7 and 8 students gain independence and see their responsibilities increase in preparation for the senior grades.

The Middle School academic program enables girls to increase their learning capacity and their abstract thinking abilities. Independent studies and personalized assignments, accelerated courses in math and French, and competitions such as the Middle School Science Olympics and the Grade 7 and 8 Math Olympics provide opportunities for girls to take academic risks and attain goals.

Senior School
Continuing the mission of preparing young women to make a difference, Havergal’s Senior School, Grades 9 to 12, readies students for university in Canada and abroad while preparing them to take their place in society as intelligent, informed and concerned global citizens.

The Senior School program challenges girls to reach their full academic potential, with opportunities for growth available through differentiated instruction, independent study and individual research projects. Ongoing support is provided through regular one-on-one contact with their Teacher Advisor and their Guidance Counselor. Provincial and national competitions in math, science and modern languages, as well as Senior clubs, such as debating, computers, robotics and the book club, provide important opportunities for girls to pursue their personal learning interests to the fullest.
